How does the subscription based service work?

We will set up your account and get all the paper work filled out. If you are wanting to subscribe to the monthly plan, the first months payment will be needed in order to proceed.

Once we set up your account, we can begin taking your work immediately either by e-mail or upload on this website.

When we receive your work request we will either ask simple questions via e-mail or by phone and send out a proof to you as soon as possible.

Upon approval we provide a copy of all working files with the typeface outlined, and a .PDF and .JPG.(also .PSD, .AI if necessary)

All of our files are created using either Photoshop, Illustrator, or both. (and sometimes InDesign)

Anything designed for print is created in CMYK.

Anything designed for web is created in RGB.


How does the regular design services work?


Basic information will be requested as to what the job is.

If we need more information we will send a questionnaire form to figure out how we can help you. This form will also allow us to estimate the cost and time frame for the job.

By the way, we are not afraid of the phone! Chances are we will call you, and usually we prefer to talk to you on the phone! This allows us to get a better feel as to what you are wanting, and helps us build a better client relationship with you!

When we have a better idea of the scope of the project, we will send a quote and the design contract.
This contract will have more detailed information as to the expectancy of the job, deposits, and any other pertinent information.


How many designs will be worked on at one time?

One at a time. Until your job is completed with the entire process from start to finish, we will not start the next job.

What if a job seems like it’s going to take longer than a few days?

Ideally we will be able to complete jobs much faster then expected. However, there is always that one job that won’t fit in a normal criteria. In such cases we make sure to let you know immediately if there can be a turn-around issue.

How will my files be delivered?

We work with Adobe software. This means you will receive the following where applicable:
.PSD, .AI, .Indd, .PDF, .JPG

What are the restrictions to your design work?

As long as the design work is static, we’ll be able to complete the job.
This means that we don’t do video editing, animations, CAD, 3d work, magazine design, programming and coding. If in doubt, feel free to ask us before signing up.

Do you do any in-house production?

At this time we do not have any in-house printers. However, if you would like assistance in finding a print vendor, we would be glad to help!

Who owns my artwork that’s created?

You do! It’s that simple. We won’t hold your logo’s, or other design work hostage for more money like many businesses do.

Can’t we just skip all this contract stuff?

Unfortunately no! The contract helps protect you and AVectoredPixel. It gives an idea of the scope of the project and sets boundaries so neither of us anger the other!

With COVID, what are your rules?

Once upon a time if you were local we would meet in person for an initial “get to know”. Now, the best way would be via video chat. Generally there would be no reason for us to meet in person unless you wanted to buy me a beer!
